Blue Balls Venues

Nine Days filled to the Brim with International Stars in a World-Class Atmosphere in and around KKL. In July, the KKL Culture and Convention Center will host this year’s main event. 18 shows by international stars, both at the Concert Hall and at Lucerne Hall.

Even more excitement in and around KKL, more events, more (and more attractive) beverage, food and bazaar stalls. In short: more festival spirit than ever before.

As part of the Coca-Cola-Festifevers, the cool Festifever chillout sounds of Djs providing the perfect aural backdrop to the breathtaking lakeside panorama, every evening from 6 p.m. to midnight...while on the Europaplatz Piazza and the Seebar Piazza, summerly-hot live acts will await you with shows starting at 6, 7.30 and 9 p.m. Get ready for Blue Balls at their bluest!

KKL Culture & Convention Center

Pavillion by the Lake- Open-Air Excitement at the Pavilion by the Lake. Right opposite KKL across the lake, nestling amongst the chestnut trees and the hustle and bustle of the bar, food and bazaar stalls, you will find our famous music pavilion. It is here where each evening, two power gigs, starting at 6 and 8 p.m., will let you enjoy Lucerne’s summer at its hottest. Hang out, tune in, discover tomorrow’s music stars today

Casineum Hall at The Casino - Blue Balls Off-Festival: Back to the Casino! Festival regulars know: the Casino once used to be the place, bar none, for die-hard nightbirds and barflies. And that’s why Blue Balls, i.e. its Off-Festival, will return “home” to the Casino’s new Casineum Hall. Needless to say, you will feel at home right away, welcomed by our great roster of live acts, taking the stage each night from 11 p.m

Special Events

Late Night Jam Sessions at The Schweizerlhof - the Artists hotel- -That’s right, the Blue Balls Hotel. Where the Festival’s musicians stay, you can also stay on, for three one-hour sets of wall-to-wall live sounds each night, starting from 11 p.m. every one and a half hours. Major stars have made impromptu jam-session appearances at The Club – so don’t miss! And, to get you in the mood, from 6 p.m., live acts will rock the Schweizerhof piazza.

Relax lakeside listening to music, sipping a glass of fine Swiss wine, enjoying new friends and listening to music at one of the outdoor Blue Ball Festival stages.
