Mon 26            DEPART USA, on Continental Airlines for a transatlantic, overnight flight to Amsterdam, Holland.                          

Tue 27             Morning arrival in Amsterdam. Train transfer from the airport to Amsterdam Central station.

                        Afternoon at leisure to explore Amsterdam.  Amsterdam Sightseeing tours (option).

Evening visit to our favorite Amsterdam brown Café “De Wildemann” for a pre dinner pint of Dutch or Belgian Trappist ale.

After a pint or three at De Wildeman, choose from an impromptu pub crawl exploring the classic beer proflokal (beer professional) pubs of Old Amsterdam or join us for a Steak dinner at De Poort van Cleve’s “Blau Parade” 16^th century restaurant. (Option $59) The steaks here are so famous they each have their own serial number!

Wed 28           You have this morning and early afternoon at leisure to further explore Amsterdam. Don’t miss The Anne Frank House, The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum or the hundreds of Amsterdam’s historical sights. Shopping in Amsterdam is hip too; from The Bijenkorp (Bee Hive) department store along the Dam Straat to The Flower Market, Diamond factories and art galleries A’dam has something for everyone. 

This afternoon we’ll trolley bus to Amsterdam’s famous T’Ij Brewery (Possibly you’ve had their incredible beer at O’Briens or your local Belgian Beer Pub) for a tasting at Amsterdam’s finest brewery.

This evening we’ll return to De Wildemann to begin our “Great Amsterdam Beer Café Tour and Ultimate Pub Crawl”. The GABT & UPC is a walking tour to several of Amsterdam’s most interesting (in both cask conditioned ales and history) pubs. It is Very Likely that we will end our pub crawl at the ALTO Café near the Leidesplein to hear Candy Dulfer’s father Hans Dulfer and his incredible jazz fusion band  Tough Tenors.

Thu 01            This morning, after breakfast you are free to explore Amsterdam, take a train down to Rotterdam to explore the incredible Pelgrem Brewery &  Pub or continue to enjoy Amsterdam and it's great beer cafes                                         

Fri 02               Considering we will have just enjoyed three late nights in Amsterdam we will depart our hotel mid-morning on a motor coach to the Moortgat Brewery just north of Brussels for a tour and tasting at the brewer of DUVEL!  

                        Then we are off to Brussels to our hotel for the next three nights

                        This afternoon you are free to explore BRUSSELS. Along  with the Grand Place and it’s Maison de Brasseurs, Brussels is home to a superb Contemporary art museum, Auto Museum, even a Museum of Comic Strips (invented in Belgium). Perhaps you’ll have a pint and enjoy lunch in the nearby Petit Sablon – an area renown for its antique shops and great beer cafes, all serving great food and abbey cheeses.      

Tonight you can opt from dinner and Belgian ales at De Spinnekopje restaurant world renown for its Beer Cuisine, sample incredible seafood, or enjoy an impromptu pub crawl exploring the hundreds of pubs in Old Brussels.               

SA 03              Today the beer traveler is greatly challenged – even before the 24 Hours of Beer begins!

                        Option one:      Trip to Cantillon for Open Visit Brewing Day!

                        Option two:      Trip to Brugges – “Venice of the North” to tour the famous canals and 16^th

                                century houses and De Halve Maan brewery – brewer of Bruggse triple                                    

Alternately you may wish to enjoy a sightseeing tour of ANTWERP

Train to The ZYTHOS BEER FESTIVAL - 24 HRS OF BEER continues at:

11AM-11PM

The wise festival attendee will take a few breaks from the festival to explore Antwerp’s

delights.

 MO 05             This morning we’ll travel by train from downtown to Brussels Airport for our flight home.

                        Alternatively, you may extend your GBBT and travel independently to visit the remaining

                        six Abbey breweries or other Belgian favorites such as the brewers of Duchesse du

                        Bourgogne.

                        On arrival in Prague we'll coach transfer to our centrally located hotels for the next three nights. This afternoon you are free to explore the wonders of "Prague - City of a Thousand Spires" The highlights of Prague include the 9th century castle, St Vitus Cathedral from 1344, The Royal Palace from 1135, Charles Bridge, The Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square , Old Town Hall with its Astronomical Clock, and the Munincipal House - an Art Nouveau jewel and home to the Prague Symphony.

After a pint or three at U FLECKU choose from an independent pub crawl exploring the classic beer cafes of Prague or opt to join us for dinner at U Flecku – The worlds Oldest Brew Pub. Pragues most famous pub and one of the worlds great taverns. U Flecku has continuously brewed and served beer since 1499!

Tue 06             This morning you have free to continue exploring Prague. This afternoon we'll visit Prague's famous  Staropramen Brewery. Tonight The Prague Ultimate Pub Crawl will visit the cities top Micro-Brew Pubs- visiting Pivovarsky Dum, Novometsky Brewry, The Strahov Monastery Brewery and The New Town Brewery.

Wed 07           Today you enjoy three great choices: 1. Continue to explore Prague's many sights, pubs and shops or 2. Opt for a day trip to visit Karlstejn Castle or  3. Choose a day trip to Pilzen to visit the Pilsner Urquell brewery and Bohemian Glass works. Wichever you choose we'll meet up to have a farewell to Prague beer together this evening

Thu 08             This morning we’ll transfer from our hotel to Prague airport for our flight   home. Alternatively, you may extend your GBBT and travel independently throughout Europe
